Life, Oxygen and Corona
I keep bleeding words and turn those wounds into art.
Never knew what pandemic felt like till the second wave of covid-19.
Even in American movies, the apocalypse isn’t that nerve wrenching.
Think of the feeling of helplessness people are feeling when they can’t arrange drugs, oxygen, and basic medical care for their loved ones.
Think of the son who lost his mother because he couldn’t arrange an ICU bed for her mother, and this might haunt him for the rest of his life.
Think of the father, losing his young son, think of that daughter screaming who couldn’t save her father.
I am sorry if I am pulling the curtain and showing you how dark it is out there.
But it is necessary.
Right now, you might be in your home reading this, but someone might be panting for breath, someone is crying, and someone is dying.
I am sorry, but all of this isn’t a nightmare you will wake up from, it is the sad truth.
You do not have to wear a cape now to be a superhero now, you just have to double mask.
You don’t need to have the ability to fly around to be called a life saviour, you just have to share the information about drugs /oxygen now.
You don’t need Captain America’s shield to save the people, you just need to practice social distancing.
The times are mad.
And everyone around you is sad.
Everywhere there are shrieking cries.
So be a hero and save lives.
