I am an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), specializing in tribal and regional history. I hold an M.A. and Ph.D. from Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya and Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith. My academic contributions include several published books, articles, and research projects. I have guided numerous doctoral and post-doctoral scholars and remain actively engaged in teaching and research. Alongside my academic work, I have held key administrative roles such as Student Advisor, Administrative Warden, and Program Officer for the National Service Scheme at BHU, and have served on various university committees. My research focuses on tribal history, the history of Kashi, and broader Indian historical narratives.
